'We utilise the tools of a Quality Management System in order to achieve transparency. The results of the regulated processes are integrated into decisions made at all hierarchy levels. By analysing the process chains and the available information, we hope to lower our failure costs on a permanent basis and thereby produce a cost advantage for our clients. We see a decisive starting point for site and workstation security in the targeted enhancement of our Quality Management System, extended to include responsibilities in connection with environmental protection and industrial safety. It is our goal to offer our employees an attractive place of employment, reflecting their collected experience and knowledge, and thus keep the employee fluctuation rate as low as possible.' Our Quality Management System has been certified under DIN ISO 9001:2000 and pursuant to the specific standards of the automotive industry under the terms of TS 16949:2002. Since its introduction in 1992, we have regularly received proof of the effectiveness of our Quality Management System through successful recertification, as well as observational and client audits. Part and parcel of our in-plant operational workflow devoted to customer satisfaction are controlled processes in our foundry and metal-cutting operations as well as in the support of order transactions. By applying the tools of modern quality control methods and test planning, cost-effective and targeted testing methods are ensured for our production processes: systematically, where they are necessary.
The functions integrated into the production processes, which include metallography, a spectral/sand laboratory, and geometrical measuring technology, including two 3-D coordinate measuring machines, together with several other processing features in production and processing machines, ensure mass-produced products that meet applicable requirements. Appropriate and uniformly documented quality information guarantees obligatory traceability and proves that our customers’ requirements have been fulfilled at each process step. With the preventive methods of process-orientated internal audits, machine capability tests, FMEA process tests, and statistical evaluation of quality data, we are ensuring the continuous improvement of the workflows in our company.
